Tuberculosis: Doctors-in- training may have exposed hundreds of children’s, infants to TB in 3 Chicago hospitals.

Doctors – in – training potentially exposed hundreds of patients including infants, at three Chicago-area hospitals to tuberculosis in what is being called an unusual case of medical care provider putting patients’ health at risk. Tuberculosis is a bacterial disease that usually affects the lungs but can also affect the brain, kidneys, spine, and other parts. It is an air-borne disease that could spread mostly through close contact with an affected person especially if the person coughs. It is very important that the hospital should at regular basis test hospital employees on some of the contagious diseases to protect the patient and workers.
